Techship Desktop is designed for efficient processing of shipments.  


This article outlines the process of processing shipments using Techship Desktop.   Notice that depending on your configuration you will be processing shipments, orders or cartons, however, the overall process will be the same.


When opening Techship Desktop application the cursor move to the search field.  You are ready to scan or key the identification of the order (shipment or carton).  


Note: If you are using a scanner it should be configured with a Carriage Return / Line Feed after scanning if you would want Techship Desktop to automatically process the shipment based on what was entered into the search field. 


At this point, Techship Desktop will try to extract the order from the WMS system, process it using Techship cloud service.   If the order contains weight information for all the cartons available based on the search criteria Techship will process the order all the way through.  If the weight information is not found it will stop processing and allow the user to add weight information for each of the cartons.  


Techship can be configured to support scales.  With scale integration in place, packages could be weighted simply by clicking on the Scale button next to each of the cartons.  If the scale is not integrated the weights will need to be manually entered by the user.
