When onboarding/adding a new Canada Post account the following information needs to be provided and verified:

  • Canada Post Username
  • Canada Post Password
  • Induction Address
  • Zonos Account Key (required if shipping to the U.S.)
     

    WARNING: Effective August 29, 2025, due to a new mandate from U.S. Customs, all shipments from Canada to the U.S. must have duties and taxes prepaid.

    To comply with this, Canada Post has partnered with Zonos to manage these payments. Before proceeding with the setup in techSHIP, you must create a Zonos Verified Account to handle automatic duty billing.

1) The Username and Password log in at: https://www.canadapost.ca/  


2) The Canada Post account is a commercial customer with a parcel agreement (we do NOT support Solutions for Small Business™ accounts)
