When setting up a TForce Carrier account, you will have to:


NOTE: This article describes how to set up the Carrier baseline account.
If the Carrier baseline account has already been set up and you intend to add a new Billing Account, refer to: How to add and set up a TForce Billing Account [Step-by-Step guide]



CARRIER SECTION

1. Access Maintenance and select Carriers



2. Click the Carrier for which you'll add the account to from the list


3. Click the Accounts tab


4. Click Add Account




5. In General Options set:


REQUIRED

  1. Name -> Enter the baseline account name.
  2. Usage mode -> Select the usage mode for this account.
  3. Status -> Select the account status.
  4. Code -> System-populated field that identifies the carrier integration for this account.
  5. Manifest mode -> Select the manifest mode to use with this account.
  6. Label mode -> Select the label format to use with this account.
  7. Label size -> Select the label size to use with this account.
  8. Label rotation -> Select the label print orientation to use with this account.


OPTIONAL FIELDS

  1. Tracking URL format -> Enter the tracking URL format when required.
  2. Client code -> Enter the client code for user-level security when required.
  3. DGIS API Username and DGIS API Secret -> Enter the DGIS credentials when DGIS is used.
  4. Ace SCAC, Ace name, Ace company, and Ace address fields -> Complete these fields when Ace ship-from information is required.
  5. Custom label override -> Select a custom label override when applicable.


OPTIONAL CHECKBOXES

  1. Enable Mapper CSV Manifest -> Enable this option when using a Mapper CSV manifest.
  2. Use test DGIS -> Enable this option when testing DGIS.
  3. Convert ZPL to PDF -> Enable this option when labels must be converted from ZPL to PDF.
  4. Exclude tax from rate shop -> Enable this option to exclude taxes from rate shopping.
  5. Disable manifest download -> Enable this option to prevent manifest downloads for this account.
  6. Use custom manifest -> Enable this option to use a custom manifest for this account.
  7. Dimensions required -> Enable this option when package dimensions are required.
  8. Airskip only -> Enable this option when only Airskip services should be used.
  9. Hide price -> Enable this option to hide prices where applicable.
  10. Redistribute labels -> Enable this option when labels should be redistributed.
  11. Disable basic trace -> Enable this option to disable basic trace for this account.
  12. Automatic finalize -> Enable this option when shipments should be finalized automatically.



6. In Carrier Options set and Save:

  1. Username/Password -> API Username and Password
