When setting up a Direct Express Freight Carrier baseline account, you will have to:

CARRIER SECTION

1. Access Maintenance and select Carriers


2. Click the Carrier for which you'll add the account to from the list


3. Click the Accounts tab


4. Click Add Account



5. In General Options set:

  1. Name -> Direct Express Freight - [Account number] (e.g. Direct Express Freight - 123456)
  2. Usage mode -> Production
  3. Status -> Active
  4. Label mode -> ZPL
  5. SCAC -> Carrier/SCAC code you're using in the WMS 



6. In Carrier Options set and Save:


REQUIRED

  1. Access Key -> API Key as provided by Direct Express Freight
  2. Account Number -> Direct Express Freight account number
  3. Site ID -> 0 if not specified otherwise by Direct Express Freight
  4. Sender address info -> Warehouse induction address (Suburb uses the FULL word, not the code, e.g. MELBOURNE)


OPTIONAL

  1. Pricing Key -> API Key to receive rates
