When managing orders, you might need to Clone Orders for testing or operational purposes.
NOTE: This feature is techSHIP+ and Enterprise only.
NOTE: Users don't have the permissions to this feature by default. The Portal Administrator must expand standard permissions to enable visibility over Clone Orders as described in How to create a user and assign permissions (General) [Step-by-Step guide] and the correspondent sub-article depending on the techSHIP package.
1. Select Orders History from the Orders dropdown
2. Select/fill up the filters that apply to the case to find the order and press the magnifying glass
- Status (Unprocessed, OK, Error, Processing, Cancelling, Failing, Warning, Estimating, or All)
- Pick Order #
- Tracking #
- Manifest #
3. Press the Clone Order button
techSHIP will create a new batch with all the information from the original order, but the batch and pick order number will include the word COPY as well as the date and time detail respectively.
WARNING: Since the new order will not have a match in the WMS, any actions performed with/to it will not update back to the WMS.
