This article outlines the permissions required to access each menu item in techSHIP 2025 and how these apply across different user roles.

 

 

The following table is organized as follows:

  • Main Menu:
    • Category: The menu item's category.
    • Item: The menu item's name.
  • Required Portal User Permissions
    • Maintenance Menu: Indicates whether this permission alone allows access to the menu item.
       
      NOTE: This permission must be granted to enable additional permissions such as Portal Admin, Carrier Admin, or Client Admin. For example, if a menu item requires Carrier Admin permissions, both Maintenance Menu and Carrier Admin must be granted.

       

    • Portal Admin: Indicates whether the Portal Administrator permission grants access to the item.
    • Carrier Admin: Indicates whether the Carrier Administrator permission grants access to the item.
    • Client Admin: Indicates whether the Client Administrator permission grants access to the item.

 

NOTE: Menu items marked with an asterisk (*) require the corresponding feature to be enabled in your portal, in addition to the necessary permissions.

All menu items under the Insights category require a subscription above the Standard plan.
