It is designed to help executives and managers assess logistics operations and identify key trends across carriers from a business perspective.

I. PURPOSE
Use this dashboard for strategic oversight and carrier comparison by:
Comparing total spending and average cost per shipment across various carriers.
Monitoring and contrasting carrier on-time delivery performance and transit times.
Analyzing quarterly trends in spending and package volume.
Drilling down into any of these metrics by a specific client or portal (warehouse) to understand carrier performance in that specific context.

II. COMPONENTS
Key components:

A. Embedded Filters: Filter all dashboard data by Portal, Client, or a combination.
B. Carrier Cost Analysis: Charts visualizing carrier spending. This section includes:
Carrier Spent by Quarter: Total shipping cost (order charge) grouped by carrier and quarter.
Average Cost per Shipment: Total shipping cost (order charge) divided by the total number of packages for each carrier.
C. Carrier Performance Analysis: Charts comparing carrier delivery efficiency. This section includes:
Carrier Delivery Performance: The ratio (percentage) of on-time delivered packages compared to the total packages that had an expected delivery date.
Average Transit Time (Days): Average time, in days, from the first carrier scan (induction) to the final delivery scan.
D. Volume & Service Breakdown: Visualizations of overall package distribution. This section includes:
Packages by Weight Breaks: Total packages segmented by defined weight categories.
Carrier Volume by Quarter: Total number of packages grouped by carrier and quarter.
Service Type Breakdown: Total packages grouped by carrier and service level.
