When processing an order, you might come across the “6519 – SpecialServicesRequested codDetail - COD not allowed for service type” error.

This occurs when a Service Code that does not support COD is chosen for an order that requires COD.

To solve this issue:

NOTE: Make sure your order is not processed to be able to edit it. If it’s already processed, you will have to void it first.

  1. Edit the order related to the issue

  2. Select the Carrier Options tab
  3. Choose a service code that supports COD for the carrier which is being used to ship the order under the Service Code dropdown
  4. Press Save to commit the changes

Once done, you’ll be able to Process or Process & Print the order.
