When processing an order, you might come across the "Error 2502 - This shipment was designated as Residential Delivery but qualifies for FedEx Home Delivery. Please mark this shipment with the service 'FedEx Home Delivery' and re-ship" error.
This relates to a FedEx service code issue, which detects that the order in question should be shipped under the “FedEx Home Delivery” service, when it’s trying to be shipped using a different code. The error message is also self explanatory to the solution.

To solve this issue:
NOTE: Make sure your order is not processed to be able to edit it. If it’s already processed, you will have to void it first.
- Edit the order related to the issue
- Select the Carrier Options tab
- Choose Ground Home Delivery under the Service Code Dropdown
- Press Save to apply the changes
Once done, you’ll be able to Process or Process & Print the order.
