When processing FedEx SmartPost orders, you might come across the following error "8669 ERROR Invalid Smart Post Indicia 2505 NOTE "USPS_DELIVERY_CONFIRMATION"




This error usually occurs when the indicia type and ancillary settings for a specific Smart Post billing account are not correctly configured in the Billing Account used to process the order.


To resolve this error, make sure that the following details are corrected or added if they are missing.


1. Access Clients under the Maintenance dropdown
 

2. Select the Client that applies to the case

3. Press the Edit Button of the account related to the issue


4. Select the Carrier Options tab



5. Select the Indicia Type and additional details according to the case


6. Press Save to apply the changes
